Clare specialises in front office operations and systems, operational risk and regulation, including MiFID and most recently she has built a reputation for consultancy services around the outsourcing of the dealing function. Clare has built her career over more than 30 years in financial services, including recent roles as head of advisory for Pentagon and previously, managing director of Investit.

Catalyst CEO Andrew Middleton comments “I’m absolutely delighted to welcome someone of Clare’s outstanding calibre, track record and profile to Catalyst.  Our stated ambition is to become the leading independent consulting firm specialising exclusively in financial services. We are on a rapid growth trajectory and Clare’s appointment marks the latest in a number of strategic appointments and acquisitions we are making. Her experience of strategic business development, alongside her significant industry expertise and considerable range of client and  industry contacts across both buy and sell-side will be tremendous assets as we continue to accelerate our expansion across the sector.”

Clare Vincent-Silk comments “It’s very exciting to be joining Catalyst at a moment of such rapid growth.  I’ve always thrived in environments which demand business savviness, as well as industry expertise – and this combination is exactly what my new role requires.  Catalyst has previously focused on building expertise in clearing, risk, regulation, organisation and talent development for the sell-side. I’m therefore delighted to be joining now, at a time when I can really help develop a full-service offering across all aspects of our industry.”
