Sionic mindfulness webinars

The Sionic learning & development team is delighted to be offering free 15-minute mindfulness drop in sessions to colleagues, clients, stakeholders and their families across the globe

As market-leading experts in people, culture and change, Sionic has over two decades of experience coaching individuals and developing talent and teams in financial firms worldwide.  Today we announce a new, free series of mindfulness webinars not just for our colleagues, clients and contacts but also friends, family and anyone who would like to take part.

Leaders Aran Dadswell and James Carter from Sionic’s Learning & development practice explain:

“Our motivation is simple. While we are unable to cease the suffering caused by COVID-19, perhaps we can create some space in your day to ease it just a little. Positive Psychology’s Founder Martin Seligman proposes that people need to be ‘calm, connected and curious’ in order to flourish. Our hope is that these mindfulness webinars will promote one or more of those elements in your day to help combat stress.”

What is mindfulness? One useful definition is: “Being here not there, and seeing what’s here”

No previous experience of mindfulness is necessary. These sessions are designed with everyone in mind. All of your family members are welcome and your audio function will be muted so you can relax and be present in whatever form suits you best each day. The chat function will be up and running if you choose to comment or ask questions. We’ll do our best to answer questions and respond to comments and you can reach us by email at mindful@sionic.com.

From Monday 30 March – Friday 10th July twice daily (8.30am and 3:00pm BST). No pre-registration is necessary – come and join us once to simply try it out or make it a regular part of your new daily working structure, it’s up to you. No two sessions will be exactly alike.
