We’re celebrating a prestigious win by one of our most talented banking and markets experts

Sionic Director Sharde McCorkle from the firm’s Banking & Markets US team has won the ‘Rising Star’ award at the prestigious Asset Servicing Times Industry Excellence Awards 2022. The awards were presented on Friday 4th November at a ceremony in central London.

This is the second year in a row that Sharde has been nominated; she was previously shortlisted for the same award in the event’s inaugural year, 2021.

Throughout my career, I have been lucky to always find people who have supported, mentored and challenged me to be the very best I can be, and I hope to offer that same encouragement to others, wherever I can. I would like to thank the judges and the AST team for their recognition and my Sionic colleagues for all their encouragement and support.”

Speaking on behalf of the award organisers, the Co-Founder and Publisher of the Asset Servicing Times Justin Lawson commented: “Sharde McCorkle has impressed us for two years in a row, not only for her knowledge but also for her wider contribution to a range of activities that contribute towards the growth of others. It’s clear from her submission that she is already a respected expert in her field, with the potential to be a future industry leader. We look forward to seeing her career continue to rise.”
