This year’s World Mental Health Day comes at a more challenging time than ever as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sionic staff from around the world will be taking part in the Wisdom Labs 30-day Mindfulness Challenge throughout October, which is designed to help build resilience and belonging in a time of uncertainty. We join 60 other organisations globally on a mission to reach 1,000,000 mindful minutes in a month, in celebration of World Mental Health Day. Some of our staff shared their personal reflections after using the Mindfulness Challenge app:
“It is so easy to lose sight of what we can and should be thankful for. I find taking a moment to reflect is both calming and refreshing”.
“For me, it’s the variety in the length of the sessions. I can do a quick 5 minute reset if I have a packed day or 20-30 minutes on a calmer day”.
“I like the variety in the app; it has been great for me to listen to a few practices whilst walking my dog before breakfast each day. This has really helped me reset, plan and get the most out of my day and make me more productive”.
“When I need a minute during my day to take a step back, reset, reconnect and recondition, I hit the Mood button in the app, select my remedy and it works”.
